A narrative poem
This is absolutely lovely.
“What they were doing was taboo, even
forbidden in the confines of a marriage.
It wasn't an affair.
They hadn't slept together or
done anything scandalous.
They cared about each other deeply” ~ ❤️
Thank you!!
Your writing is so evocative and lovely. The way you described the decent due to temptation was great!
I'm really glad you liked it. 😀
I love your poem! It reminded me of a woman with another man, a connection made of glances and laughter and then a cold rain without an umbrella. Laughter crashing. Thanks for reminding me, let's read each other if you like, have a nice day!
Thank you so much, Nick. I appreciate you reading and commenting on it. I will try to read some of your stuff soon.
Beautiful, Dustin! I love this!
Thank you, Chris! I'm so glad! This is one of my favorites that I've written.
Beautiful and haunting.
Thank you, Kate! I appreciate that. 😊
